In preparing this updated and expanded edition, I am frequently asked (in jest) if the Bible changed since I wrote the original in 1995. Of course the Bible has not changed, but my understanding of some subjects has, and so I felt the need to both update and expand on the original work.
It is my sincere belief that confusion over the meaning of biblical prophecy cannot help but promote confusion in other areas of biblical study. Future prophecy touches every area of Bible doctrine and impinges on the study of every book of the Bible in some way. It is my desire that the material presented here will promote a better comprehension of the Bible’s message broadly, and a sense of urgency as we seek to reach a lost world for our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the sovereign Lord of history—past, present, and future.
